COVID-19 - proactive measures

Dear friends,

In light of the recent global developments surrounding COVID-19, and in an effort to do what is best for our team and the local community we are taking preventative measures.

As of Monday, March 16 we will for the time being close the gallery to the public. We all are working remotely and create a split work schedule for our team in order to remain fully operative and you will be able to continue communicating with us. The current exhibitions of Jacobo Castellano and Peter Hujar & Paul Thek will be prolonged until April 11. The scheduled double opening of the exhibitions of Jitka Hanzlová and Michel Pérez Pollo will be postponed until further notice.

With such precautions it is our goal to contribute to the wider effort combating the spread of the virus and protecting the wellbeing of our team, our families and our community during this time. We will continue evaluating the local situation and will plan accordingly as we know more. For further details please visit mai36.com.

We wish all of you and your loved ones good health, positive energy and stay safe. We’d be most pleased to hear from you and to keep in touch. We are available for calls and conversations and will continue to communicate through our digital channels.

It is our strong believe that we can make a difference in acting proactively now, as art is doing so in all times for us. We are looking forward to re-opening our gallery doors again and to welcoming you at the gallery soon.

Warm regards,
Victor Gisler & team
