The accompanying, richly illustrated publication Ian Anüll: Rien ne va plus contains essays by Huang Qi, Nils Röller, Rolf Winnewisser and Andreas Vogel. The book is designed by Georg Rutishauser and distributed by edition fink.

The widely travelled artist Ian Anüll questions with his multifaceted work the firmly established values of our society. For his exhibition at the Helmhaus Zurich, he has collected videos, photographs, installations, objects, collages, paintings and records from the last 25 years and arranged them into an impressive course with new works created for the exhibition.

Parallel to the exhibition, a richly illustrated publication has been produced, which, in addition to the exhibited works, contains four texts, each of which deals with Anüll's work in its own way. While Andreas Vogel gives an overview of his work in a virtual tour through the exhibition, Nils Röller focuses on a single group of works with the chocolate pictures. Huang Qi takes us on a touching personal voyage of discovery and Rolf Winnewisser places works by Anüll’s own (word) creations alongside ten pictures.

The exhibition and publication provide a comprehensive insight into the multi-layered work and take us into the cosmos of Ian Anüll.
